We open 5 days of musical events with Street Orchestra London - an exciting impromptu style performance. This will be preceded by 2 hours of music from the Classical PopUps Ensemble, featuring the exceptional Jason Evans - Principal Trumpet player with the Philharmonia Orchestra. Fantastic arrangements for strings and brass of film music and West End hits will be performed to reflect the immediate areas rich musical theatre and film heritage. Intertwined with a selection of upbeat classical string music, this should be the perfect way to kick off the series. Including music by Piazzolla, John Williams and John Barry.

 

 

July 6th

The stunning violinist Kerenza Peacock is joined by the Classical PopUps Strings for a programme of classical music, Classic FM hits and tangos. In celebration of 25 Years of Classic FM, Kerenza - a firm favourite on the station, will perform alongside top string players, bringing her “panache and verve…” to St James’s for two whole hours including a special performance of 'Elegy', composed by Classic FM's John Brunning.

A  Saturday lunchtime of Trios from the gorgeous girls of Blue Topaz. The unique blend of two violins with double bass creates a stunning musical effect. Blue Topaz has performed at events all over the world to

Coro - An award winning chamber choir, based in the heart of London performs a beautiful mix of choral classics and new discoveries. Featuring a premiere performance of a new work by Classic FM's John Brunning.
